“Sacred Ground”
“Sacred Ground” is the debut recording for Jeff Stockton, featuring nine original compositions – beautiful, soulful and joyful. These contemporary Celtic pieces were inspired by the beauty and simplicity of the natural world, and arranged to reflect the wonder of an unfolding day in the height of Summer. The disc features harp, voice, cello, violin and percussion.
In the recording process, every attempt was made to capture the sense of intimacy that is created during live performance. The result is a recording evoking a range of emotions: with playful pieces that would sound at home in any Irish pub, gentle ballads with lush strings, through more exotic pieces combining eastern modes and strong percussion.

‘Eventide’ begins this charming selection of Jeff’s original Celtic tunes played on harp, cello, violin, and percussion.
